    Nick Jenny became a certified diver in 1982 and an instructor in 1989.  Before joining Blue Horizons Dive Center he worked in the airline industry enabling him to dive all over the world. 

    Nick s experience in the travel industry and extensive travel give us unparalleled expertise in dive travel. Whether your travel desires are near or far, Nick has probably been there and knows the best sites, dive operator, hotel and restaurant. 

    As a dive shop owner for the past 12 years Nick understands the critical need in our industry for quality instructors. He also recognizes that people dive for the fun of it, at the open water level all the way through instructor. This balance of high standards and fun epitomizes Nick's teaching style. Nick works extremely hard to lessen students' stress in order to maximize learning effectiveness.

    Nick is one of 10 District Course Directors in the United States, and was involved in developing the latest IDC curriculum. He has issued over 500 instructor ratings since 1995, more than any other Course Director in the Northeast. His approach is fresh and enthusiastic, centering on the specific needs of the candidate. The success of Nick's style is illustrated by his 96% pass rate.

    Nick was excited that PADI started the DeepTec program, as he has been technical diving since 1990. He was one of the first DeepTec instructor trainers, and embraces the curriculum. The same combination of adherence to standards and having fun is embedded within this course.
