PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer #197975
SDI Assistant Instructor #10068

I knew I was hooked on SCUBA diving after my first open water dives in the chilly waters off the coast of Jamestown, Rhode Island in November of 1997.

Originally from Connecticut, I spent my first few years diving in New England.  I attended college at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, hundreds of miles away from the ocean.  That did not stop me from continuing my pursuit to blow bubbles.  I spent my college years diving in lakes, rivers, and quarries and continued taking dive classes at the local dive shop, eventually earning the title of assistant instructor.  I relocated to Charlottesville in the summer of 2005 and completed my instructor training with Nick Jenny in Philadelphia.  Since that time, I have been actively teaching any and all students who want to learn about this fascinating sport.

When I’m not teaching you can usually find me wreck diving off the coast of Virginia Beach.  I also frequent many of the fresh water sites in the area and would love to show you some of the local spots we dive.
